I was on the phone to the dutch company i bought my van from today kirftenklok

and they told me i have all the correct paper work ,which i had found today

i have a customs recipt which is in dutch that has no mention of my vans vin number or any details about my van .
Its has one vin number at the bottom and its not my one .

so the lady in the offic was not to keen on that , i was told by the dutch guy that there was a reference number on the form and that was enough :o

now i see that the bill of sale for my van has the wrong vin number on it

the certificate of title from the states matches the van but i have no way of showing the duties were payed on my van

Ah yes

the shippers wouldn't have released it without the duty being paid first. That's what happened in my case anyway. The fact that it's in private ownership should prove the duty has been paid...
