Hi there, it's a long time since a story was put up here.  I have a good one to tell and will have it posted in the next day or so.  There is a lot to it and it happened quite a while ago, so I'll have to rack my brains to recall it.  I'll keep y'all in suspense for a while ............ >:D :o

Great stuff Flash although I couldn't help but notice a common theme in the only 2 stories to date!  >:D Guess the next person to go on a trip with Darren better have the foresight to bring a few spare tyres with them!  :P

You used a forklift to put my bus on the trailer :o
When I collected it from John he just put in a battery and some petrol and his father drove it up onto the trailer I had hired.
It sounds like you had loads of fun I wish I had gone with you >:D

The trailer I hired was brand new so I didn't have half as much problems towing it up to Mayo, but that bus does like to bounce around I think it has a mind of its own. The straps keep falling off the wheels about every 20 miles, so I had to keep stopping to but the straps back on. I thought it was going to roll off the trailer going up the steep hill coming out of Kerry. It took me four hours to get to Johns house and six or seven hours to get back to Mayo. I put the battery from the beetle in and some petrol and reversed it off the trailer (thats the only time I've drove it).

The picture in my avatar is taken with the bus on the trailer outside the Devon hotel ;)
